After finishing second at the RIT Invitational for the Lycoming wrestling team, senior Eli Crum has earned his fourth career Warrior of the Week award and his first of the year. Crum, ranked 17th in Division III by Open Mat, was seeded second in the tournament and lived up to the billing after posting a fall against John Carroll's Alex Drees, tech falling Wesleyan's Roman Martinez, 16-0, and pinning Williams' Zach Borzio in the semifinal. In the final, he faced 10th-ranked Jamie Evarts of Williams. Crum got in on a deep single in the third period, but Evarts was able to ward off the takedown and hold on for the win.
Crum is 12-3 this year with five pins and five tech falls. He is 88-38 in his career and has a school-record 35 technical falls.
