With a perfect 38 points garnered in a 150-109 win over Stevenson to avenge a 2016 loss to the Mustangs, freshman Cara Zortman has earned her first career Warrior of the Week award. She notched individual wins in the 200-yard freestyle (2:08.02), 50-yard freestyle (26.49) and 100-yard freestyle (58.56) before teaming with McKenna Zeller, Emilie Kramer and Mikayla Wright to post a 1:47.42 to take the 200-yard freestyle relay.
