With three goals and an assist in a pair of must-win games for the Lycoming men's soccer team, first-year Leandro Cruz has earned his first career Warrior of the Week award. The forward notched a goal and an assist in a 6-0 win over Wilkes University, scoring with a harder on a corner kick before assisting the first goal in the second half. He followed that with a two-goal effort in a 4-2 win over Moravian University in the opening round of the Landmark Conference Championship, scoring the first goal of the game before adding the final goal on a breakaway in the final minutes to ice the win.
The first-year player from Nottingham, Md., has posted five goals and two assists, sitting second on the team in goals and points.
