After tying a career high with 18 points on Sunday in the Warriors' 59-42 win over Penn State Altoona, senior Chelsea Shearer has earned her first career Warrior of the Week honors. Shearer canned seven 3-pointers during the week, leading the team to wins over Misericordia and the Lady Lions, averaging 14.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals during the wins. Shearer began the week by posting three treys and 11 points in the win over the Cougars, who reached the Freedom Conference finals in 2011. She added four 3-pointers and hit 6-of-11 shots from the field. Shearer also posted two assists and two steals.
