Averaging 19.5 points, a game-winning shot and becoming the 34th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points was enough to help senior Steven Hamilton earn his third career Warrior of the Week award and first of the season. The senior guard posted 16 points, four assists, two blocks and a steal in a 57-55 win over Scranton, as he posted his 1,000th point with his sixth of the game. He then iced the win with a turnaround jumper with 2.5 seconds left. He followed that with 23 points and two steals against 19th-ranked Catholic, finishing the week averaging 19.5 points, 2.5 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 50 percent from the field (15-of-30).
Hamilton finished 12th in the Landmark in scoring (12.9), 14th in 3-point field goals made (1.6), fourth in assists (3.7), 13th in blocks (0.8) and ninth in minutes played (31.2).
