WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Seniors Megan Klansek (Hanover, Pa. / Southwestern), Megan Lonergan (York, Pa. / York Suburban) and Anasten Holbrook (Parker, Colo. / Colorado Early Colleges-Douglas County) all earned selection to the College Sports Communicators Women's Swimming & Diving Academic All-District Team, as announced by the organization this week.
Eligible student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically, carry at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average and have competed in 90 percent of the institution's games/contests/sets played or have started in at least 66 percent of the games/contests/sets.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Women's Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom.
Lonergan was selected for the second time, having also been chosen in 2023-24, while Klansek and Holbrook were each honored for the first time in their careers.
Lonergan finished her career with a 16th-place finish in the 1,650-yard freestyle at the Landmark Conference Championships with a season-best 20:51.55 and claiming seven top-three finishes throughout her senior campaign. She is a three-time Academic Honor Roll selection and an inductee into the Chi Alpha Sigma Athletics Honor Society.
Klansek closed out her career with a 19th-place finish in the Landmark Conference Championships in the 100-yard backstroke with a season-best time of 1:13.60. She also posted a season-best mark of 1:04.97 in the 100-yard freestyle at the season-closing meet. Klansek was a Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll selection a season ago and is an inductee into Chi Alpha Sigma.
Holbrook finished out her college career on a strong note, finishing 15th in the 200-yard backstroke at the Landmark Conference Championships, posting a personal best of 2:37.06 in the event. She was also a Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll selection a season ago and is an inductee into Chi Alpha Sigma.
The Warriors closed out their season with a ninth-place finish at the Landmark Conference Championships.
