Will Eberz (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) was 18th with a 6-over-par 78 to lead the Lycoming College golf team to a fifth-place finish in a 51-golfer field at the Penn State Altoona Spring Invitational held at the par-72, 6,515-yard Sinking Valley Country Club on Monday afternoon, April 20.

Tre Lesperance (Chadds Ford, Pa./Unionville) added an 8-over-par 80 to finish tied for24th and rounding out the scoring four, first-year
Colby Seiler (Lewistown, Pa./Mifflin County) added an 83, as the team posted a 29-over-par 317, the team's best round of the fall.
First-year
Ryan Ault (Jersey Shore, Pa./Jersey Shore Area) posted a 15-over-par 87.
Lycoming had seven birdies during the round, with Meserve posted them on the par-5, 460-yard No. 11 and the par-5, 620-yard No. 17, Eberz notching birdies on the par-4, 330-yard No. 13, and the par-4, 340-yard No. 14, Lesperance posting birdies on the par-5, 580-yard No. 7 and No. 11 and Ault birdying No. 7.
The Warriors are back in action on Saturday, April 25, when they open the two-day Landmark Conference Championship at the Shawnee Golf Resort at 8 a.m.
