HUMMELS WHARF, Pa. – First-year Tre Lesperance (Chadds Ford, Pa./Unionville) fired a 6-over-par 76 to finish third in a field of 48 golfers to lead the Lycoming College golf team, which finished sixth in a field of nine teams at the par-70, 6,261-yard Susquehanna Valley Country Club on Thursday afternoon, April 9.
 
The Warriors finished with a 325, with three finishing in the top 25.
 
Lesperance had 12 pars and six bogeys during his round, finishing 2-over-par on the back nine with a 38.
 
Senior Connor Shanahan (Chester Springs, Pa./West Chester East) posted a 12-over-par 82 to finish tied for 20^th and first-year Colby Seiler (Lewistown, Pa./Mifflin County) finished with an 83 to take 25^th. He birdied the par-4, 343-yard No. 4. Junior Will Eberz (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) rounded out the scoing four with an 84, as he birdied the par-4, 374-yard No. 8.
 
First-year Hill Meserve (Kennett Square, Pa./Unionville) finished 23-over-par with a 93.
 
Lycoming's 'B' team finished ninth and was led by senior Karson Kline (Clearfield, Pa./Clearfield Area), who finished tied for 25^th with a 13-over-par 83 and first-year Ryan Ault (Jersey Shore, Pa./Jersey Shore Area) finished with an 87 to tie for 33^rd.
 
The Warriors head to the Sea Gull Spring Invitational at Green Hill Country Club for a two-day tournament that kicks off at 9 a.m., on Saturday, April 11.
