LEBANON, Pa. – First-year
Hill Meserve (Kennett Square, Pa./Unionville) finished in a tie for 11
th in a field of 78 golfers and the Lycoming College men's golf team finished sixth in a field of 15 teams at the Lebanon Valley Spring Invitational on Monday, March 31, at the par-72, 6,562-yard Lebanon Country Club.

The Warriors finished in sixth with a 327, behind only Millersville (311), Elizabethtown (313), Scranton (316), Bloomsburg (319) and Rutgers-Camden (324), and ahead of Lebanon Valley (329), Penn State Berks (335), Muhlenberg (336), DeSales (340), Eastern (346), Misericordia (347), FDU-Florham (354), Elizabethtown 'B' (356) and Lebanon Valley 'B' (366).

Meserve posted an 8-over-par 79, four strokes behind Peyton Moyer, who earned medalist honors with a 3-over-par 75. He birdied the par-5, 493-yard No. 7 and added 11 pars during the round, including a 2-over-par 38 on the back nine.

Tre Lesperance (Chadds Ford, Pa./Unionville) was 31
st with a 10-over-par 82, junior
Will Eberz (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) and junior
Connor Shanahan (Chester Springs, Pa./Downingtown East) were 32
nd with an 11-over-par 83 to round out the scoring four. First-year
Colby Seiler (Lewistown, Pa./Mifflin County) was 42
nd with a 14-over-par 86.

Lesperance birdied the par-4, 374-yard No. 6, Eberz birdied No. 7 and Shanahan birdied the par-5, 507-yard No. 2.

The Warriors get back on the course on Thursday, April 9, when they head to the Susquehanna Spring Invitational for a 10 a.m. start.
