Donnelly closes season with 270 saves for Lycoming against Wilkes

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Junior Evan Donnelly (Hanover, Md./Archbishop Spalding) posted 22 saves to finish the season with 270, the second-most in the history of the Lycoming College men's lacrosse team and the Landmark Conference, as Lycoming fell to Wilkes University, 13-3, in conference action on Wednesday night, April 22, at UPMC Field.

The Warriors finished the season 3-11 and 1-8 in the Landmark Conference under third-year head coach Tony Mackin.

He stopped 13 shots in the first three quarters before stopping nine of Wilkes' 20 fourth-quarter shots, allowing just one goal. Donnelly also grabbed four groundballs.

First-year Ryan MacElhinney (Holmes, N.Y./Carmel) led the Warrior offense with two goals and first-year Samuel Hall (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) added one. First-year Kyle Kunes (Joppa, Md./Joppatowne) was credited with an assist.
