WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - The Lycoming College volleyball team placed eighth in the Landmark Conference Volleyball Preseason poll, the conference announced on Monday, Aug. 25.

The conference unanimously picked the defending national champion, Juniata, to win its 18th straight Landmark Conference championship. The poll positions Scranton (73), Elizabethtown (59), Catholic (58), Susquehanna (53), and Drew (39) in the remaining five spots in the conference championship tournament. Moravian (36), Lycoming (25), Wilkes (16), and Goucher (10) round out the poll.
Tim McMahon, the longest-tenured and winningest coach in the program's history, will lead the Warriors' volleyball program for his 25th season in 2025. Â
The Warriors will need to replace four seniors from the 2024 starting lineup, but return seniorÂ
Cameron Upcraft (Spring Mills, Pa./Penns Valley), who was an honorable mention all-conference selection as a middle hitter as a first-year player in the MAC Freedom. She averaged 2.09 kills and hit .245 while leading the team with 0.72 blocks per set as a junior.

The Warriors open the season with the Tip-Off Classic on Friday, Aug. 29, when they host New Paltz at 4 p.m. and Pitt-Greensburg at 8 p.m., in Lamade Gym.
