WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Five members of the Lycoming College softball team – senior
Rachel Daub (Honesdale, Pa./Honesdale Area), juniors
Claire Alexander (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport Area),
Kristen George (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area) and
Mallory Rodarmel (Montoursville, Pa./Loyalsock Township) and sophomore
Kendall McAnelly (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport Area) - have each earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced on Tuesday, May 28.
The award is the third for Daub and second for Alexander, George and Rodarmel.
A two-time all-conference selection, Daub helped the Warriors reach back-to-back conference finals in 2023 and 2024. She hit .309 in her career, finishing third in program history with 128 career hits, fourth with 27 doubles, seventh with 164 total bases, and ninth with 60 RBI and 24 stolen bases. She also caught 33 baserunners stealing from behind the dish, where she played nearly every inning in a four-year career. She hit .276 as a senior with 16 runs, six doubles, a homer and 17 RBI. A member of Chi Alpha Sigma Athletics Honor Society, the biology major was a two-time NFCA Scholar Athlete and a three-time member of a conference honor roll.
Alexander started all 29 games at shortstop, hitting a career-best .323 with 24 runs, 30 hits, four doubles, five RBI and 10 stolen bases. She became the 18
th player in program history to reach 100 career hits on April 23 against Juniata.
George started 27 games at first base and posted nine hits and a career-high six RBI.
Rodarmel started 29 games in the outfield, hitting a career-best .294 with 10 runs, a career-high two homers and 11 RBI, also stealing five bases.
McAnelly appeared in 22 games, 15 in the pitching circle, posting a 3-6 record and a 3.25 ERA in 69 innings pitched. She tossed two complete games.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To be eligibile, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and compete in 90 percent of the institution's games/contests played OR start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games/contests. Softball pitchers qualify if they appear in 17 games or pitch 35 or more innings.
The Warriors finished 13-16 overall in 2025 and 4-12 in the Landmark Conference under 12th-year head coach
