Eiswerth earns third all-conference honors of career

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – For the third time in her career, Lycoming College senior Avery Eiswerth (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport Area) was listed on an all-conference team, earning second team honors at the utility position on the All-Landmark Conference softball team, the conference office announced.

Eiswerth earned the honors at the utility position for the third year in a row, as she split time between the pitching circle and the outfield. The ace of the Warriors' pitching staff, Eiswerth finished 7-9 overall with a 2.16 ERA. She set school records with 143 strikeouts and four saves while hurling 103.2 innings and walking just 37. She posted a 1.18 WHIP, completed 13 games and fired two-hit shutouts against Wilkes and Scranton, helping her earn Landmark Conference Pitcher of the Week honors on April 14.

At the plate, the senior hit .280 (21-of-75) with eight runs, a homer and nine RBI while also stealing six bases. She started 15 games at pitcher and 14 in the outfield, posting just one error in 42 chances in the field.

The senior is ranked fifth in Division III in strikeouts per seven innings (9.7) and 11th in saves (4), leading the Landmark Conference in both categories. She is also second in the conference in complete games (13), third in innings pitched (103.2), fourth in the conference in shutouts (2) and sixth in ERA (2.16). She finished her career with a school-record eight saves, second with 83 appearances, third with 317 strikeouts, fifth with 349.1 innings pitched, seventh in program history with seven career homers, ninth with 25 wins, 10th with four shutouts and 11th with a 3.09 ERA and 25 complete games.

Eiswerth, who was a First Team All-Landmark Conference selection in 2024 and a Second Team All-MAC Freedom pick in 2023, is just the sixth Warrior to earn three all-conference honors in a career and the first to do it since outfielder Morgan Wetzel '23 racked up three straight honors from 2021-23. She is the third pitcher to reach the feat, joining Lycoming Athletics Hall of Famers Morgan Mantle '06 and Mary Beth Schwindenhammer '97.

The Warriors finished 13-16 overall in 2025 and 4-12 in the Landmark Conference under 12th-year head coach Melissa Montoro.
