WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College men's golf team was selected to finish ninth in the Landmark Conference Pre-Championship poll, the conference office announced on Friday, April 18.

Two-time defending champion Scranton led the poll with 76 points and four first-place votes. Drew followed closely in second place with 67 points and four first-place votes of its own. Moravian ranked third with 59 points, including two first-place votes, while Catholic and Elizabethtown were right behind rounding out the top five. Goucher, Juniata, Susquehanna, Lycoming and Wilkes round out the poll.

The two-day, 36-hole conference championship will be hosted at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort on April 26-27. Day one of the championships will feature 18 holes of competition using a traditional-style start, with Lycoming teeing off first at 7:57 a.m. The order of play on day two will be determined by placement on the leaderboard after the first round.

Admission to the Landmark Men's Golf Championship is free. Spectators must remain at least 15 yards from participants and stay on cart paths and in roughs. No communication shall be permitted between spectators and participants while a round is underway. Spectators with a medical need that warrants the use of a golf cart may rent one at the Pro Shop.Â

Will Eberz (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) has led the Warriors this year, playing a program-record 14 rounds with a 81.43 stroke average, the seventh-best average in program history. Sophomore
Connor Shanahan (Chester Springs, Pa./Downingtown East) is second on the team with a 86.8 average in five rounds and sophomore
Mikey Fry (Muncy, Pa./Muncy) is third with a 89.57 average in seven rounds. Sophomore
Ross Eyer (Muncy, Pa./Muncy) is fourth at 93.8 in five rounds, sophomore
Christian Eppley (Woodbridge, Va./Colgan) fifth at 94.5 and junior
Dylan Seck (Athens, Pa./Sayre Area) sixth at 96.5.

The Warriors wrap up the regular season on Monday, April 21, when they head to Wyoming Valley Country Club for a 1 p.m. double dual with King's and Wilkes.
