WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – First-years
Tre Lesperance (Chadds Ford, Pa./Unionville) and
Ryan Ault (Jersey Shore, Pa./Jersey Shore Area) finished second and third with a 77 and a 78, respectively, to lead the Lycoming College golf team to a tri-match win over King's College and Misericordia University at the 6,178-yard, par-71 Wyoming Valley Country Club on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 24.
Rounding out the Warriors' four scoring players, junior
Will Eberz (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) posted an 80 to tie for fifth in the field of 17 golfers and junior
Connor Shanahan (Chester Springs, Pa./Downingtown East) added an 83. First-year
Hill Meserve (Kennett Square, Pa./Unionville) added an 85 to round out the team's players.
Lycoming finished with a 318 to edge out King's (320) and Misericordia (321).
The Warriors are back on the links on Friday, Oct. 3, when they head to Olde Homestead Golf Course in New Tripoli, Pa., for the DeSales Fall Invitational, which starts at 11 a.m.
