WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Former Lycoming College men's basketball coach Terry Conrad is one of a class of six inductees that will be honored at the Adams County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame banquet on Nov. 15, in Gettysburg, Pa.

The induction dinner is Saturday, November 15, 2025 at the Sterner Building on the grounds of Gettysburg Recreation Park, Long Lane, Gettysburg, PA. Doors will open for a social time at 5:30, dinner will be served at 6:30, and the induction ceremony will follow. Tickets for the banquet are $35 per person, and all are welcome to attend. No tickets will be sold at the door. You may purchase meal reservations for $35 by check, made out to Adams County Sports Hall of Fame. Please mail checks to Ed Riggs, Historian, 30 W. Broadway, Gettysburg, PA 17325. If the check is for multiple persons, please be sure to include the name of each attendee. These reservations must be received no later than November 10, 2025.

Conrad coached Lycoming from 2000-03 after tenures as an assistant at Shenandoah University and Bucknell University. He posted a 48-31 (.608) record overall and a 28-14 mark in the MAC Freedom, culminating with the school's first conference title in 2002, when he coached the team to a 20-8 record and the second round of the NCAA Division III Championship. He coached 2002 MAC Freedom Player of the Year Tommy Wesner, 2003 MAC Freedom Rookie of the Year Jonathan Pribble, two all-region selections and six all-conference selections in his time at Lycoming, earning the MAC Freedom Coach of the Year award in 2002.

He left Lycoming to become the head men's basketball coach at Bloomsburg University from 2003-06 before moving back to the Bucknell athletic department, where he rose to the assistant athletic director for development. In 2015, he returned to Lycoming College and worked for six years as a senior major gifts officer before becoming a realtor with Villager Realty in Lewisburg. Â

Conrad graduated from Delone Catholic High School in McSherrystown in 1979, where he led the South Central League in scoring as a basketball player his senior year. He was named a top-15 player in the Harrisburg area. He was selected to play for the PA All-Stars against the USSR National team at Gettysburg College, then continued his basketball career at Bloomsburg University, where he led his team to one PSAC title and two NCAA tournaments.

Conrad will be inducted with Kirby Scott, football player and track and field athlete from Gettysburg College; Laike Gardner, wrestler from Biglerville High School; Brett Smith, multi-sport athlete from Delone Catholic High School; Andrea Wickerham, collegiate coach and athletic administrator from Gettysburg High School; and Joe Egresitz (deceased), football player and track and field athlete from Gettysburg College.
