Lycoming lands four on Landmark All-Sportsmanship Team

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—The Landmark Conference announced the selection of four Lycoming College student-athletes to Winter All-Sportsmanship Team, as announced by the conference office.

The Landmark Student-Athlete Advisory Committee created the All-Sportsmanship Team in 2023 to recognize student-athletes who epitomize the ideals of sportsmanship. The student-athletes serve as ambassadors for the team — both on and off the field — and lead their teammates toward their goals. The honorees exhibit respect for themselves, their teammates, coaches, opponents, spectators, and the greater campus community.

Each team nominated one individual who embodied these ideals throughout the 2025 season to be a member of the Landmark All-Sportsmanship team. The student-athletes' coaching staff selected the nominee for the honor.

Men's Basketball: J.J. Beagle (Senior; Williamsport, Pa. / Williamsport Area)

Beagle started all 25 games for the Warriors in his senior season, averaging 6.2 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. Beagle shot a career-high 48.1 percent from the field this season and also tallied 22 blocks. Over his four years with the Warriors, Beagle notched 510 points and 359 rebounds while logging 53 career starts.

Women's Basketball: Kami Abdo (Senior; Pottsville, Pa. / Nativity BVM)

In her final collegiate campaign, Abdo started all 25 games at point guard. In the process, she averaged 7.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and tallied 56 assists and 33 three-pointers, all career bests. Abdo finished her time with the Warriors with 610 points, 213 rebounds, and 178 assists.

Men's Swimming: Jason Ricci (First year; Cherry Hill, N.J. / Cherry Hill)

In his first season on campus, Ricci established himself as one the Warriors' top swimmers, consistently improving times throughout the season. He capped off his debut season by setting a personal best in the 100-yard backstroke (57.81) and reaching the finals in the 200-yard backstroke at the Landmark Conference Championships, setting a personal best in the preliminaries, then besting that mark once more in the finals with a time of 2:07.92.

Women's Swimming: Vanessa Cook (First year: Seekonk, Mass. / Seekonk)

Another first year swimmer, Cook made an impact in her first season on campus, including setting personal bests in 50-yard freestyle (28.98), 100-yard freestyle (1:03.17), and 200-yard freestyle (2:18.57), while also competing in all three events at the Landmark Conference Championships.
