WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – After finishing in the top 10 in the Landmark Conference in scoring and rebounding, senior Emily Lockard (Benton, Pa./ Benton Area) earned honorable mention all-conference honors, the conference office announced on Tuesday, Feb. 27.
The senior forward led the Warriors and finished 10th in the Landmark with an average of 11.3 points per game and third with 8.7 rebounds, as she piled on eight double-doubles this season. Lockard was also ninth in the league with 0.8 blocks per game.
Lockard scored a career-high 21 points in her final game of the season against 11th-ranked Catholic. She was named Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week after a 75-73 win over Penn State Altoona, when she had 20 points and 10 rebounds to go with three steals, three blocks and two assists.
The senior finished her career with 664 points (8.5 per game) and 512 rebounds (6.6 per game) to go with 48 blocks in 78 career games, as she improved her scoring, rebounding, assists and steal averages in each year of her career.
She is Lycoming's first all-conference player since Erica Lutz was a First Team All-MAC Freedom selection in 2021.
The Warriors finished 12-13 overall and 6-12 in their first year in the Landmark Conference under 31st-year coach Christen Ditzler.
