WASHINGTON, Pa. – Three Lycoming College wrestlers – senior 125-pounder
Kaden Majcher (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run), sophomore 174-pounder
Nolen Zeigler (Loysville, Pa./West Perry) and senior heavyweight
Robbie West (Washington, Pa./Fort Cherry) – won individual titles to help the team finish in second place at the Washington & Jefferson Invitational on Saturday, Nov. 9.
Eight Warriors ended up placing in total, as Lycoming finished with 161 points, behind only Gettysburg's 174 points. Penn State Behrend (121.5) and Fairmont State (103.5) also finished north of 100 points.

Kobin Karper (Boiling Springs, Pa./Boiling Springs) took second, junior 133-pounder
Jaciah Whitcomb (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) and junior 184-pounder
Eli Crum (Carlisle, Pa./Boiling Springs) each finished third, junior 197-pounder
Jimmy Ellis (Ephrata, Pa./Ephrata) took fourth and junior 133-pounder
Anthony Coukart (Portage, Pa./Portage Area) finished sixth.
Majcher, 15
th in the NWCA's Division III rankings, opened his tournament with an 18-4 win over Gettysburg's Tank Spelta and followed that with a pin of Cael Dailey in 6:16 to reach the semifinals, where he beat Penn State Behrend's Zach Dellinger, 18-7. In the final, he posted a 17-1 technical fall over Gettysburg's Noah Hinkel.
Seeded fourth at 174 pounds, Zeigler posted two pins, a tech fall and a major decision to win the title. He pinned Washington & Jefferson's John Starusko in 22 seconds, then beat Fairmont State's Tristan Ice by major decision, 27-13 and reached the finals with a 16-0 technical fall of second-seeded Navid Ighani of Fairmont State. He dispatched Matt Melchoir of Behrend by pin in the final in 2:15.
Top-seeded West won the Washington & Jefferson Invitational title in his hometown and added two pins to give him 48 in his career, three shy of the school-record of 51 set by Royce Eyer (1997-01). He pinned Waynesburg's Austin Fleming in 1:32, posted a 2-0 decision over Behrend's Matt Trim and reached the final with a 17-0 technical fall of Pitt-Bradford's Gavin Thompson. In the final, West sowed up a pin of Gettysburg's Simon Taylor in 3:50.
Karper had three technical falls in his first three bouts before he took a medical forfeit in the final. Ellis opened his tournament with a pin to reach the semifinals before he took a medical forfeit, finishing in fourth place. Whitcomb was 3-1 en route to finishing third and Coukart was 3-2 to a sixth-place finish at 133 pounds. Crum was 2-1 with a pair of technical falls to take third at 184.
The Warriors get back in action on Sunday, Nov. 17, when they head to the Waynesburg Duals, facing off with Washington & Jefferson at 2 p.m., Penn State Behrend at 3:30 p.m., and Division II Shippensburg at 5 p.m.
