The trio of Wagner, Zeigler and Crum will get set for the two-day NCAA Division III Championships in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, starting on Friday, March 13.

On Saturday, the Warriors leapt over 25th-ranked RIT and St. John Fisher in the team scores, finishing with 108, behind only eighth-ranked Stevens (147.5) and Ithaca.

Junior 133-pounder Bobby Gardner (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) and junior 197-pounder Ivan Neal (Georgetown, Del./Sussex Central) each finished fourth and senior heavyweight Michael Sipps (Lawrenceville, Pa./Cowanesque Valley) took sixth.

Wagner, ranked eighth by the NWCA, defeated Ryley Monica at 165 pounds, 8-3, in the semifinal to clinch his second straight berth at the NCAA Championships and beat Carter Davis of Penn College, by major decision, 8-0, in the final.

Zeigler, ranked 11th by the NWCA, earned his bid to nationals with a 5-4 win over RIT's Jack Lamson in the semifinals, but he fell to eighth-ranked Konrad Parker of Ithaca, 11-6, in the final.

Crum was just edged out in the semifinals in sudden victory, 4-1, to Oneonta's Jack Ryan, but he rebounded by getting a third-period takedown in the final minute of the match to beat Stevens' Noah MacIlroy, 5-4, and reach the third-place match for the second year in a row. He fell behind Ithaca's Xavier Pommels by giving up a takedown, but he got a reversal, a two-point near fall, a four-point near fall and then a pin with three seconds left in the first period to secure his first trip to nationals.

Gardner fell to Centenary's Daniel Haws, 7-5, in the semifinals before posting an 8-5 sudden-victory win over Cortland's Rocco Futia in the consolation semifinals. NJCU's Lucas Torre won a wild third-place match, 9-8, in the first tiebreaker.

Neal won a pair of matches Saturday to reach the third-place match, beating St. John Fisher's Braydon Vandenberg, 9-4, in the consolation quarterfinal and added a 12-10 win over Penn State Behrend's Abraham Keep in the consolation semifinal, but Penn College's Nicholas Woodruff posted a 4-0 win in the third-place match.
