Kaden Majcher (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) and sophomore 174-pounder
Eli Crum (Carlisle, Pa./Boiling Springs) won individual titles to lead the Lycoming College wrestling team to a third-place finish at the Penn College Invitational, finishing ahead of two nationally-ranked programs inside Bardo Gym on Saturday, Jan. 6.

The Warriors had seven placewinners, with two taking first, three third, one fourth and one sixth, as the team finished with 103 points behind Delaware Valley and Averett, who tied for the team title with 136 points, and ahead of 17
th-ranked Muhlenberg (93.5), 24
th-ranked Penn College (79.5) and short-handed seventh-ranked Castleton (66), who sent its varsity wrestlers to the NWCA National Duals.

Majcher improved to 16-3 on the season, as he opened the tournament by pinning Penn College's Michael Sandacz before winning a 17-0 technical fall in the semifinals over Luke Heimbach. He capped off the meet with a 14-3 major decision win over Muhlenberg's Christian Horvath.

Crum moved to 17-3 on the year, winning by injury default in the quarterfinal before pinning Averett's Khalil Mitchell in the semifinals and earning a 17-2 technical fall over Scranton's Jeremiah Oakes in the final.

Cooper Gilham (Bellefonte, Pa./Bald Eagle Area) won his first two bouts to reach the semifinals, but he was forced to retire with an injury, as he claimed fourth place and sophomore 133-pounder
Jaciah Whitcomb (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) went 2-2 to take sixth.

The Warriors will now get set for the 16-team Budd Whitehill National Duals, which will start at 9 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 12, in Lamade Gym.
