YORK, Pa. – The Lycoming College women's 200-yard freestyle and 400-yard medley relay teams each earned a spot on the podium to highlight the swimming teams' second day of the MAC Championships on Friday, Feb. 10, at the York YMCA Aquatic Club.

The women finished the day in 10
th-place with 190 points, while Messiah leads the event with 728. The men are in 11
th after two days with 166 points while Stevens leads the event with 826.

The 200-yard freestyle relay team of senior
Katherine Brown (Glenside, Pa./Abington), junior
Cathryn Brought (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area), junior
Elisa DiNicola (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) and
Augustus Wood (Herndon, Va./Herndon) swam a season-best 1:42.48 for a seventh-place finish, the fifth-fastest in program history.

Brown, Brought, junior
Courtney Chapman (Warminster, Pa./William Tennent), and first-year
Megan Lonergan (York, Pa./York Suburban) combined for the 400-medley, swimming a 4:21.84 for an eighth-place finish. Brown swam 29.33 and 34.41 splits in the breaststroke to catch Lebanon Valley's Emily Beard early in the race to give the Warriors the lead in the event's third heat.

Will Marcinkowski (Philadelphia, Pa./LaSalle College), sophomore
Noah Vivian (Barto, Pa./Boyertown), and junior
Eliot Keith (New Ringgold, Pa./Blue Mountain) swam a 3:47.30, a season-best. The 200-yard freestyle relay of senior
Reilly Gluz (Syracuse, N.Y./Williston Northampton), Marcinkowski, senior
Matthew Michenfelder (East Windsor, N.J./Hightstown) and senior
Caleb Reigle (Mount Wolf, Pa./Northeastern) finished 12
th in 1:37.46. The 'B' relay of Michenfelder, junior
Brennan Warner (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro Area), Gluz and Reigle also earned 14 team points in the 400-yard medley relay, finishing 22
nd in 4:00.47.

DiNicola had the highest individual-event finish for the Warriors, finishing 12
th in the 100-yard butterfly with a season-best time of 1:02.49.

Vivian also placed 20
th in the 100-yard butterfly, swimming a 54.65 in the 'C' final. Vivian swam a season-best 54.49 in the preliminaries.

Chapman (1:08.47) and Gluz (55.89) were positioned as alternates in the 100-yard butterfly.

Michenfelder and Reigle also swam the 400-yard individual medley, with Michenfelder swimming a 4:35.40 for 18
th, a personal-best, and Reigle finishing 22
nd at 5:31.53.

The Warriors return to the pool on Saturday, Feb. 11, for the third day of the MAC Championships with preliminaries at 9:30 a.m. and finals at 5:30 p.m. in York, Pa. Conference champions in the 800-yard freestyle relay, the 200-yard butterfly, 100-yard backstroke and 100-yard breaststroke will be crowned.
