WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -Â With the regular season completed, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will take the court one more time in 2020-21 when it heads to Stevenson University for a MAC Crossover Challenge game at 7 p.m.
The Warriors (2-3 overall) fell to undefeated DeSales twice last weekend. Senior
Erica Lutz led the team during the pair of games, as she averaged 14.0 points and 9.5 rebounds and junior
Allison Wagner added 8.5 points and 4.5 assists per game.
The Mustangs (4-6 overall) split a pair of low-scoring games at Lebanon Valley in their final series, winning on the road, 52-48, before falling at home, 56-54. Senior Alexa Sanmartin led the Mustangs scoring in double figures with 11 points in the home loss.
Game Notes
• Prior to this season, the Warriors had never played a game later than March 5.
• The Warriors can clinch a school-record eighth straight .500 or better season, as the team has a 109-76 (.589) record in that span.
• Senior
Erica Lutz needs 15 more points to become the 16th player in school history to reach 900 in a career.
• Lutz's .527 career field goal percentage (376-of-714) is the best in program history. She would need to miss her next 27 consecutive shots to fall to second in program history.
• Both Lutz and junior
Kenzie Reed are tied for fourth in the MAC Freedom with 1.4 blocks per game, as the pair could be the first set of Warriors to both finish in the top five in the league in blocks.
• Junior
Allison Wagner leads the MAC Freedom with 4.2 assists per game. She could become the first Warrior in program history to lead the conference in dimes.
