WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -Â After a nearly three-month long delay thanks to the pandemic, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will open its second tenure in the MAC Freedom on Thursday night, Feb. 11, when it hosts FDU-Florham in the first game of a home-and-home series at Lamade Gym. Lycoming heads to FDU-Florham on Friday night.
The Warriors are coming off a 15-11 season and its fifth straight trip to the MAC Commonwealth Championship in 2019-20, and return all-conference senior
Erica Lutz, who averaged 13.9 points and 9.8 rebounds per game.
The Devils finished 7-18 overall in 2019-20 and welcome six new players this season. Sophomore Jayda Bing led the team with 12.1 points and 8.1 rebounds per game last season.
Game Notes
• The Warriors are 16-11 in season-openers under head coach
Christen Ditzler and 21-21 all-time. The team is 13-14 in road openers under Ditzler.
• The Warriors have had a winning record in a school-record seven straight seasons, amassing a 107-73 (.594) record in that span.
• The Warriors return 42 percent of the team's scoring from 2019-20 and its freshman class of seven is the largest since the 2016-17 team had nine collegiate rookies.

Erica Lutz became the first Warrior since Adrienne Aiken (1989-91) to average more than 9.0 rebounds per game two years in row, posting 9.2 in 2018-19 and 9.8 in 2019-20.
