Branigan and Brown lead in second day of Diamond City

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Sophomore Carter Branigan (Lansdowne, Pa./Commonwealth Charter) came up big, winning two individual events, while junior Katherine Brown (Glenside, Pa./Abington) set a Diamond City Invitational and school-record in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:04.68 to lead the Lycoming College men's and women's swim teams in the second day of the event on Saturday, Nov. 20, at the Catholic Youth Center.

Brown's time of 1:04.68 was just a tenth of a second off a NCAA 'B' cut, while she took down the school-record of 1:05.43 set by Stacy Flick on Feb. 19, 2011.
