OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Taking three individual events each, junior
Katherine Brown (Glenside, Pa./Abington) and sophomore
Elisa DiNicola (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) led the Lycoming College women's swim team to their first victory of the season in a 89-53 win over Stevenson University on Sunday, Oct. 31, at Henry A. Rosenberg, Jr. Aquatic Center. The men's team also prevailed, 132-43, to improve to 3-0.

DiNicola took her first event of the afternoon, the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:11.24. In the 100-yard fly, she clocked a second victory with a time of 1:03.16 and was followed closely by fellow sophomore
Courtney Chapman (Warminster, Pa./William Tennent), who came in at 1:07.67. Her final race win was the 500-yard freestyle, coming in at 6:02.60, again followed by Chapman in second with a time of 6:06.75.

Brown's first win of the day came in the 50-yard freestyle, turning in a 24.78 time. Her second win was in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 55.01, and her final win came in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:06.57, followed by senior
Devon Kaiser (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) with a second place time of 1:16.71.

Olivia Plotts (Pottstown, Pa./Pottsgrove) rounded out the women's victories with her win in the 1,000-yard freestyle, posting a 14:06.99.

For the Lycoming College men's swim team, sophomore
C.J. Zortman (York, Pa./York Suburban) and senior
Jake Booth (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven), led the Warriors with two individual wins each as well as a shared relay victory as the team easily topped Stevenson.

Zortman's winning 200-yard freestyle time of 1:58.04 was followed by junior
Reilly Gluz (Syracuse, N.Y./Williston-Northampton), who took second with a time of 2:04.50. His second win of the afternoon came in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 59.15.

Booth won the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:03.87 with sophomore
Carter Branigan (Lansdowne, Pa./Commonwealth Charter) following behind at 2:06.59. Booth also took the 500-yard freestyle in 5:10.02. Booth and Zortman contributed to the 200-yard free relay win with teammates, first-year
Noah Vivian (Barto, Pa./Boyertown Area) and sophomore
Eliot Keith (New Ringgold, Pa./Blue Mountain), as the quartet posted a time of 1:33.1.

Caleb Reigle (Mount Wolf, Pa./Northeastern) won the 1,000-yard freestyle race with a time of 12:19.33. Gluz won his 100-yard butterfly race in 57.24. Keith won the 100-yard freestyle in 50.56, followed by Branigan in second at 51.09. Junior
Will Marcinkowksi (Philadelphia, Pa./LaSalle College) won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:03.63 with Keith second in 1:05.28.

Matthew Michenfelder (East Windsor, N.J./Heightstown) started the meet with a winning 1:45.96 200-yard medley relay time.

The Warriors return to the pool on Saturday, Nov. 6, in a double-dual meet at Misericordia University with Hood College at 1 p.m. in Dallas, Pa.
