WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -Â After knocking off the MAC Commonwealth's preseason favorite in the opening round of the conference's championship, the Lycoming College men's basketball team will get a chance to knock off the postseason favorite when it heads to No. 1-seed Widener University for the conference semifinals on Wednesday evening, Feb. 26, at 6 p.m.
The Warriors (18-8 overall) scored five points in the final 18 seconds to be able to get past fifth-seeded Hood, 80-78, on Monday, Feb. 24. Freshman
Mo Terry led the team with 18 points and nine rebounds and junior
Darius Dangerfield added 16 points and nine rebounds.
Widener (19-6 overall) started the conference season with eight straight wins before going 4-4 the second half of the year, winning the regular season by two games.

• Lycoming is 10-6 in the MAC Commonwealth Championship since joining the league in 2007, including 6-2 in the semifinal game.
• The Warriors are 1-1 all-time against Widener in the MAC Commonwealth Championship, falling to them in the finals, 75-61, in 2008 and beating them in the semifinals, 79-77, in overtime in 2012.Â
