WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - For the fifth straight year, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will enter the postseason by heading to Stevenson University for a MAC Commonwealth Championship first round game on Monday night, Feb. 24.
 
Lycoming finished the regular season with a 15-10 overall record and an 8-8 MAC Commonwealth record. Junior Erica Lutz leads the team, averaging 13.9 points and 9.9 rebounds, senior Morgan Mader adds 12.6 points and a league-best 3.1 3-pointers per game and senior Akilah McFadden contributes 11.9 points, 3.6 assists and 2.4 steals per game.
 
Stevenson finished the regular season 13-12 overall with an 8-8 MAC Commonwealth record and the team leads the conference averaging 11.36 steals per game. Junior Brandi Hall leads the team with an average of 11.6 points per game and senior Hannah Crist adds 11.0.

Game Notes
• Lycoming and Messiah are the only teams in the MAC Commonwealth to earn a bid to the conference championship in each of the last five years.

• The Warriors are making their seventh appearance in the MAC Commonwealth Championship in eight years. The team is 1-2 in first round games.

• With 237 steals, senior Akilah McFadden needs two more to tie Kim Wood (1987-90) for the program record for steals in a career.

• McFadden will pass Erica Weaver '98 for the school record for games played (103) if she appears in the game Monday.

• McFadden is the only player in school history with 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, 300 assists and 200 steals.

• Junior Erica Lutz needs four more rebounds to become the seventh player in school history to grab 600 in a career.

• Since entering the starting lineup at the start of 2020, junior Sydney Purcell is averaging 3.1 assists per game.
