MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – With five bonus-point wins, the Lycoming College wrestling team closed out its dual meet season with a 36-7 win over Wesleyan University on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 15.
 
Lycoming (12-5 overall) got the benefit of two pins, with senior Joe Santomarco (Manalapan, N.J./Manlapan) planting Dario Molina in the second period at 149 pounds and sophomore Connor Fulmer (Elysburg, Pa./Southern Columbia) dropping Harrison Karp in the first period to cap the match at heavyweight.
 
Junior Ethan Landis (Canton, Pa./Canton) won by disqualification at 141, freshman Gable Crebs (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville) added an 8-0 major decision win over Duncan Kreutter at 184 and in his first action of the year, senior Travis Ogden (Clearfield, Pa./Clearfield Area) posted a 21-2 technical fall of Pablo Sanchez at 197.
 
Lycoming capped off its seventh straight winning season and the 25^th in the career of 27^th-year head coach Roger Crebs. Lycoming's group of seniors posted a 56-17 (.767) record in duals.
 
Freshman Sam Hanley (Danielsville, Pa./Northampton Area) posted a 9-7 decision at 133 pounds, senior Trevor Corl (Howard, Pa./Bellefonte) posted a 2-0 decision at 157 and freshman Hunter O'Connor (Jersey Shore, Pa./Jersey Shore) posted a 9-3 decision at 165 to make up the team's other nine points.
 
Wesleyan's Marco Gaita, ranked as a contender by d3wrestle.com, notched a 5-2 decision over senior Hadyn Swartwood (Jersey Shore, Pa./Jersey Shore Area), ranked as honorable mention.
 
Wesleyan fell to 2-12 overall.
 
The Warriors will now get set for the postseason, heading to Messiah College for the NCAA Southeast Regional, with the two-day tournament beginning Friday, Feb. 28 at 9 a.m.
