2019-20: Third Team NWCA All-American … NCAA qualifier at 174 pounds … three-time MAC champion … NCAA Southeast Region runner-up … First Team All-MAC … posted a 30-6 overall record in first year at 174 pounds … notched 15 falls, two technical falls, three major decisions and six decisions … notched a 13-4 mark in dual meets … named to Budd Whitehill All-Tournament Team after posting a 5-0 record with five falls at the event, also earning MAC Wrestler of the Week honors for the effort … won third MAC title with a 2-1 decision against Messiah’s Brian Shermeyer … first three-time MAC champion since Tommy Snyder won his third straight title in 2006 … took title at Washington & Jefferson Invitational, beating Jamestown Community College’s Dan Torres, 3-1, in the finals … finished second at the Ohio Northern Invitational … ranked ninth in the initial NCAA Most Dominant Wrestler standings, averaging 4.79 team points per match at the time … started season ranked ninth in d3wrestle.com rankings … became eighth wrestler in program history to reach 100 career wins with a default win over King’s on Jan. 26 … finished career with 103-33 record … third in program history with 41 career falls and seventh with 11 technical falls … a member of the MAC Academic Honor Roll.
