WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -Â After a hard-fought overtime loss on Saturday, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will get back on the court on Wednesday night, Feb. 12, when Alvernia University comes to Lamade Gym for a MAC Commonwealth matchup.
The Warriors (14-8 overall, 7-6 MAC Commonwealth) are trying to keep a one-game lead over Arcadia in order to clinch one of the five conference playoff spots after an 80-77 loss to the Knights. Lycoming will need to win two of its last three games to ensure a playoff slot.
Alvernia (9-13 overall, 3-10 MAC Commonwealth) is coming off a 69-61 loss at Hood on Saturday. Junior Julia Ewen led the Golden Wolves with 15 points and 22 rebounds in the game and junior Gabriella DeVito added 21 points and hit six 3-pointers.
