Conner Fulmer (Elysburg, Pa./Southern Columbia) lifted Lycoming College to a dual meet win over 20
th-ranked Castleton with a first period pin to help the team wrap up the Budd Whitehill National Duals in ninth place on Saturday, Jan. 11, at Lamade Gym. The Warriors went 2-0 on the second day of action, beating Castleton, 24-17, after defeating York (Pa.), 34-10.

Fulmer pinned Joseph Galusha in 1:34 to edge the No. 20 team in the country, 24-17.

Sam Hanley (Danielsville, Pa./Northampton) got the momentum going for the Warriors, picking up a 6-1 win before junior
Ethan Landis (Canton, Pa./Canton) picked up a key 4-3 win at 141 pounds which was followed by decisions from seniors
Joe Santomarco (149, Manalapan, N.J./Manalapan) and
Trevor Corl (157, Bellefonte, Pa./Bellefonte).

In a matchup of ranked grapplers, senior
Hadyn Swartwood (174, Jersey Shore, Pa./Jersey Shore) pinned Chance LaPier and capped a perfect weekend with his fifth pin in five matches to move into a tie for fifth in the program's history with 95 wins with Bryan Neidigh '90, Darin Keim '96 and Jerry Boland '98, before Castleton made up ground with 10 points in the next two dual meets.

Holding onto an 18-17 lead, Fulmer sunk in a deep half for the dual meet win.

Lycoming defeated York, 34-10, in the morning match. Hanley began a run of four straight Lycoming wins with a, 9-1 major decision. Landis used two takedowns with in the third period to gut out a 6-4 win at 141 pounds. Santomarco pinned Timothy Sparks in 2:24 and Corl won via tech fall.
