WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Entering its first conference title game since 1990, the second-seeded Lycoming College women's basketball team will play the role of underdog on Saturday, Feb. 23, when it heads to top-seeded Messiah College for the MAC Commonwealth Championship final at 3 p.m. in Hitchcock Arena.
The Warriors (18-8 overall) finished second in the MAC Commonwealth regular season and outlasted No. 3-seed Widener, 65-64, in the conference semifinals. The team is led by junior First Team All-MAC Commonwealth selection
Kayla Kline, who is averaging 14.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game.
The Falcons (24-1 overall) posted a 62-51 win over No. 5 Lebanon Valley in the conference semifinals and are paced by a lineup with four seniors in it, including MAC Commonwealth Player of the Year Alecia Rohrer.

• Lycoming has advanced to its first conference title game since 1990. The Warriors also played in the MAC Northern Division final in 1988.
• The Warriors' 18 wins are second in program history to the 1987-88 team, which won 21.
• The Warriors have allowed 57.5 points per game this year, 0.6 better than the school-record of 58.1 set by the 2014-15 team.

Kayla Kline was a first-team pick and sophomore
Erica Lutz and junior
Akilah McFadden were both second team.
• Kline was named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District First Team on Thursday, becoming the first Warrior to earn first-team accolades.
• McFadden needs four more points to become the 14th player in school history to post 900 in a career.
