WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Winners of two of its last three, the Lycoming College men's basketball team will host Stevenson University on Saturday, Feb. 2, at 3 p.m., in Lamade Gym, as it looks to continue its second-half surge.
The Warriors (9-12 overall, 3-9 MAC Commonwealth) dropped a 57-54 contest to Alvernia in their last outing. Sophomore
D'Yante Doughty led all scorers with 23 points, also pulling in eight rebounds. Senior
Calvin Chandler recorded his second straight double-double, finishing with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Stevenson (13-7 overall, 7-4 MAC Commonwealth) downed Messiah in overtime, 86-84, on Wednesday night. Seniors Montaque Wright (21 points, 8 rebounds) and Marcus Dentley (20 points, 7 rebounds) led the Mustangs.
Warrior Notes
• The Warriors have had a player post at least 20 points in 15 games this season, the most since the 2012 squad did it 17 times. Sophomore
D'Yante Doughty leads the team with four 20-point games.
