WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -Â After a late rally helped the Lycoming College men's basketball team surge past Alvernia in the team's conference opener, Lycoming will get back on the road when it heads to Stevenon University for another MAC Commonwealth clash on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 3 p.m.
The Warriors (6-1 overall, 1-0 MAC Commonwealth) posted a 75-66 win over Alvernia in its last outing on Dec. 4. Freshman
Dyson Harward led the Warriors with his second double-double, notching 19 points and 12 rebounds and senior
Ryan Hollis added 16 points, canning four 3-pointers.
The Mustangs (3-5 overall, 0-1 MAC Commonwealth) fell to Messiah, 65-47, in their conference opener on Dec. 4. Junior Cam Harris led the team with 12 points off four 3-pointers and senior Jaylin Johnson added 11 points.
Game Notes
• With a win, the Warriors can improve to 2-0 in MAC Commonwealth play for the seventh time in the team's 13 years in the conference. Each time they started 2-0, they made the conference tournament.
• At least four Warriors scored in double figures in each of Lycoming's first six games this year. The Warriors are 12-6 in games where that occurs the past two years.Â
