WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - In the middle of finals week, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will face one of its biggest tests of the early part of the season when No. 11 Messiah College comes to Lamade Gym for a rematch of the 2019 MAC Commonwealth Championship game at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
The Warriors (6-2 overall, 2-0 MAC Commonwealth) have started conference play with wins over Alvernia (58-46) and Stevenson (64-60). Senior 
Akilah McFadden has led the way, averaging 16.0 points, 4.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game.
The Falcons (7-1 overall, 1-0 MAC Commonwealth) opened conference play with a 59-53 win over Stevenson before beating York, 54-36, in a non-conference game on Dec. 7.
Game Notes
• Lycoming and Albright are the only two teams in the MAC Commonwealth with four players averaging 10.0 points per game.
• The Warriors are 5-0 when holding opponents to less than 40 percent shooting from the floor.
• Senior 
Akilah McFadden became the 11th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points with her 11th of 20 against Stevenson. McFadden reached the mark in 86 games.
• McFadden is the only player in school history in the top 10 in career points (1,009, 10th), steals (206, fourth), assists (271, seventh) and blocked shots (67, seventh).
• McFadden leads the MAC Commonwealth and is 16th in Division III with 28 steals.
• With 100 career 3-pointers made, senior 
Morgan Mader needs to hit two more to tie Emily DiMarco (2000-04) for sixth in program history.
• With 526 career rebounds, senior 
Kayla Kline needs two more to tie Kristin Friel (1986-90) for ninth in program history.
