WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After a pair of one-possession losses to undefeated teams, the Lycoming College football team will host 13th-ranked Delaware Valley University in Middle Atlantic Conference action as part of Homecoming & Family Weekend on Saturday, Oct. 5.

The Warriors (1-3 overall, 0-2 MAC) are coming off a 19-13 loss to King's. Seniors Sam Pawlikowski and Duane Boone each had 10 tackles in the game, with Boone adding a sack and two tackles for loss. Senior Jamie Fisher also hit two field goals in the game.

The Aggies (3-1 overall, 2-0 MAC) posted a 55-7 win over Albright on Sept. 28, its 22nd consecutive MAC win.  Quarterback Anthony Fontana completed 10-of-14 passing for 188 yards and three touchdowns.

Warrior Notes
• Sophomore Elijah Shemory needs 163 more passing yards to become the 12th quarterback in program history to reach 3,000 in a career. He is also six completions shy of becoming the 15th quarterback to reach 200 in a career.

• With 30 career field goals, senior Jamie Fisher needs to make one more to break the school record set by John Phillips (1989-92).

• With one tackle against King's, senior Korahn Williams became the fifth Warrior defender on the roster to reach 100 career stops. Senior Zach Kovach enters the game with Delaware Valley seven tackles shy of the mark.

• Senior Stephen Toczylousky is fourth in the MAC with an average of 102.0 receiving yards per game. He is one of two receivers in the league with three 40-yard receptions this season.

• With at least half a sack in all four games, senior Matt Galasso is tied for third in the league with 3.0 this season.

Climbing the Charts
Sophomore Elijah Shemory is quickly moving up in the career record books, entering the game with Delaware Valley just 167 yards away from becoming the 13th quarterback at Lycoming to throw for 3,000 yards in a career. He is also just six completions shy of becoming the 15th Warrior to complete 200 passes in a career, while he is two touchdown passes shy of tying for 12th in program history with Domenic Pacitti (1980-83). His average of 202.6 passing yards per game is currently the top mark in program history, just ahead of Keith Cadden's 198.1 yards set from 1994-96.

The Deep Threat
Senior Stephen Toczylousky has turned into one of the top deep threats in the MAC this year. In four games, he has already posted three receptions of 40 yards or more, second only to King's Gabe Bocella, who has four. Toczylousky had a 76-yard reception for a touchdown against King's, the longest since Nick Costello had an 80-yard reception in 2017. Toczylousky, a Southern Columbia High School graduate, is fourth in the MAC with an average of 102.0 receiving yards per game and his 20.4 yards per catch is second in the league.

Behind the Line
Senior Duane Boone has started to make a big impact on the defensive line, as the 6-2, 211-pounder has moved into the top 10 in the league in tackles for loss, sitting seventh with five. He has notched at least one tackle behind the line of scrimmage in the last three games, posting two against Widener, one against Wilkes and two more against King's, when he had a hand in a career-best 10 stops. Boone also has two sacks to his credit, which is second on the team to junior Matt Galasso's three.

Fisher's Field Goals
With six field goals in the first four games, senior Jamie Fisher has climbed to the top of the  school's career field goal record book, currently sitting tied for first with 30 in his career. Fisher has been perfect on field goal attempts this year and is currently 11th in Division III with 1.5 field goals made per game. He has hit two of the top-10 longest field goals in program history and he has set a school record with seven career 40-yard field goals. Fisher is the first Warrior in program history to hit 10 field goals in back-to-back years after hitting 13-of-18 as a sophomore and 10-of-17 as a junior. He is also third amongst Division III players in active career leaders.

Reaching 100
After four Warriors reached 100 career tackles in 2018, four more have already hit the mark in 2019, with a fifth closing in on the mark. Senior linebacker Zach Kovach had 93 career stops entering the game with Delaware Valley, posting 34 as a freshman, 25 as a sophomore, 17 as a junior and 17 this season.

Three Warriors reached the mark in the win over Widener.  Senior Jarrell Payne, a linebacker, leads the group with 115 career tackles, posting 19 as a freshman, 42 as a sophomore, 33 as a junior and 21 this year. Senior Sam Pawlikowski, a linebacker, has added 123 stops, posting two as a freshman, 59 as a sophomore, 30 as a junior and a team-best 32 this year. Senior Ahmad Curtis, a defensive lineman, was third to reach the mark against the Pride, as he now has 117 in his career after posting 12 as a freshman, 31 as a sophomore, 50 as a junior and 24 this year. Senior Korahn Williams, a defensive back, was the fourth to reach the mark after posting 38 tackles as a freshman, 28 as a sophomore, 24 as a junior and 10 this year. 

Senior cornerback D.J. Boyd entered the year with 100 tackles. He posted 25 tackles as a freshman, 13 in a medical hardship year and 52 as a sophomore, 25 as a junior and has eight this year.
