CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Sophomore
Logan Franquet (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) continued to roll for the Lycoming College cross country team, setting a career-best mark for the third consecutive race to highlight the team's race at the DeSales Invitational on Saturday morning, Sept. 12.

Franquet led the men's team in the 8K race to a 12
th-place finish out of 16 teams by running a 31:05.10, placing 85
th. Junior
Maverick Stenger (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg) finished second on the team and 109
th overall with a time of 33:14.00. Junior
Guillermo Quintero (Austin, Texas/KIPP Austin) cut two minutes off his previous 8K time, finishing in 33.32.90. Sophomore
Diego Pallares (Cicero, Ill./Bulls College Prep) came in behind him by finishing in 33:53.10.

Freshman
Geo Castillo (Shippensburg, Pa./Shippensburg Area) finished with a run of 35:07.77. Sophomore
Zeb Harshbarger (Reedsville, Pa./Mifflin County) continued to improve, running a 36:30.00 and freshman
Chris Alvarado (San Antonio, Texas/KIPP San Antonmio) cut two minutes off his previous time with a run of 41:28.80 to round out the group.

Claire Shaffer (Sayre, Pa./Sayre Area) led the women's team in the 6K race by finishing 65
th out of a field of 125 with a run of 28.23.00. Senior
Kayla Nowak (Newtown, Conn./Newtown) ran a 33:52.30 and freshman
Mariah Rovenolt (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) finished in 40:37.90.

The Warriors are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 19, when they compete in the Hood College Open, with the women's race starting at 9:30 a.m. and the men to follow at 10:30 a.m.
