WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -Â Heading into the stretch run of the 2018-19 season, the Lycoming College men's basketball team will play its last non-conference game of the year when it hosts Haverford College in the consolation game of the Louis Fleming Basinger Memorial Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 5, at 3 p.m. in Lamade Gym.
The Warriors (7-7 overall) opened the Basinger Tournament by falling to Penn State Abington, 66-55. Freshman
Matt Ilodigwe led the team with a career-high 18 points and four 3-pointers and senior
Calvin Chandler pulled in a career-best 11 rebounds to go with three blocked shots.
The Fords (4-7 overall) fell to Misericordia, 88-73, in the other first round game. Junior Jack Cork posted 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead the team.
Game Notes
• The Warriors are 14-3 all-time in the nine years of the Louis Fleming Basinger Memorial Tournament.
• The Warriors are 46-39 all-time against Centennial Conference opponents. Haverford is the only Centennial school that Lycoming has not faced in men's basketball.
