WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -Â After outlasting Albright College on the North side of town Saturday, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will head to the South side of Reading on Wednesday, Jan. 30, to face Alvernia in a MAC Commonwealth matchup at 6 p.m.
The Warriors (14-6 overall, 8-3 MAC Commonwealth) scored the last five points of the game against Albright to post a 53-50 win. Junior
Kayla Kline led the team with 11 points and sophomore
Erica Lutz added a career-high 16 rebounds, as Lycoming posted its second-lowest point total of the season in the win.
The Golden Wolves (3-17 overall, 0-11) fell to Messiah, 54-36, in its last outing. Sophomore Gabriella DeVito led the team with 11 points and freshman Erin Malin added eight rebounds.

• With the win over Albright, Lycoming clinched its fifth straight winning season, tying the school record set from 1993-98.

Kayla Kline is the only player in the MAC Commonwealth in the top 10 in the league in scoring (14.9, seventh), rebounding (8.9, fifth) and assits (3.1, seventh).
• Sophomore
Erica Lutz became the 31st player in school history to post 300 points in a season with her second of seven points at Albright. Kline is two away from the milestone. The pair would be just the sixth duo in program history to reach the mark in the same season.
• Kline needs six more rebounds to become the 21st player in program history to post 400 in a career.
• With 217 career assists, junior
Akilah McFadden needs one more assist to tie Jen Holt (1995-98) for eighth in program history.
• With 168 career steals, McFadden needs three more to tie Janelle Ziminski (2011-15) for seventh in program history.
