WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Officially past the midway point of the MAC Commonwealth season, the Lycoming College men's basketball team will host its last midweek game of the year when Lebanon Valley College comes to Lamade Gym on Wednesday, Jan. 23, for an 8 p.m. game.
The Warriors (7-11 overall, 1-8 MAC Commonwealth) fell to Arcadia, 78-51, on Jan. 18. Junior
Nasir Akram scored seven points and pulled in six rebounds in his first game as a Warrior. Sophomore
D'Yante Doughty added 11 points and six rebounds.
Lebanon Valley (6-12 overall, 3-6 MAC Commonwealth) fell to Albright, 62-57, on Jan. 19. Junior Justin Baker led three Flying Dutchmen in double figures with 17 points and seven rebounds.
Warrior Notes
• Lycoming and Lebanon Valley met in the last semifinals of the MAC Commonwealth Championship the last two years, with Lycoming winning in 2017 and Lebanon Valley in 2018.
• The Warriors have knocked down double figure 3-point field goals in three straight games.
• The Warriors have hit 10 or more 3-pointers in nine games this year, which is more than the last four seasons combined (eight).
• For the first time in program history, five different Warriors have hit at least 20 3-pointers.
