Warriors head to Lebanon Valley looking for first conference win

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Coming off the team's second 90-point performance of the season, the Lycoming College men's basketball team will head to Lebanon Valley College for a MAC Commonwealth contest on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 6 p.m.

The Warriors (4-3 overall, 0-2 MAC Commonwealth) were led by six players in double figures in a 100-92 overtime loss to Stevenson. Junior Devon Taylor had career highs of 12 points and 12 rebounds and freshman Markanthony Fidelis netted 21 points for the third time this season. Sophomore Darius Dangerfield added 20 points and four assists. 

The Flying Dutchmen (2-5 overall, 0-2 MAC Commonwealth) are coming off an 86-56 defeat to Albright. Freshman Jordan Abdo had a double-double, finishing with 15 points and 10 rebounds and junior Justin Baker added 15 points and 9 rebounds. 

Warrior Notes
• The Warriors have played in back-to-back overtime games for the fifth time in school history. They are 4-0 in games following such stretches.

• Lycoming leads the MAC Commonwealth in  scoring (85.3), blocks (4.71) and steals (9.71).  

• With his fifth of 21 points against Stevenson, freshman Markanthony Fidelis crossed 100 career points, becoming the fastest to reach the mark since it also took Anthony Martin  seven games in 2011-12.

• Lycoming has had at least one 20-point scorer in all seven games this year, led by four such efforts from Fidelis.

• With his last of 20 points at Stevenson, sophomore Darius Dangerfield reached 250 career points.

• Senior Darius James is 23 points shy of reaching 600 in his career.

• Junior Devon Taylor is 10 points shy of reaching 100 in his career.
