WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After notching 17 wins last year, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will open the 2018-19 campaign by hitting the road for Penn St.-Hazleton on Tuesday night, Nov. 12.
The Warriors (0-0 overall) return three starters and six key contributors from the 2017-18 squad that reached the MAC Commonwealth semifinals for the second year in a row. Junior
Akilah McFadden led the returning players with averages of 11.0 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.
The Lions (1-1 overall) are coming off a 93-73 loss at Wilkes on Saturday. Senior point guard Mckenzie Prutsman led the team with 36 points and five rebounds and sophomore Lauren Pataki added 21 points and eight rebounds.
