WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Senior
Emilie Kramer (Wellsboro, Pa./Wellsboro) took first in the 200-yard individual medley and the 200-yard breaststroke to highlight the Lycoming College women's swim team's effort against defending Middle Atlantic Conference champion Messiah College on Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Lamade Gym Natatorium, but the Warriors fell to the Falcons, 136-67. On the men's side, the Warriors won three individual events, but fell, 118-83.

Kramer finished six seconds ahead of the second-best time with a swim of 2:18.24 in the 200-yard individual medley and 10 seconds ahead of the next fastest swimmer with a swim of 2:32.37 in the 200-yard breaststroke. She teamed up with sophomore
Cara Zortman York, Pa,/York Suburban), junior
Elena Pikounis (Marriottsville, Md./Marriotts Ridge) and sophomore
McKenna Zeller (White Haven, Pa./Holy Redeemer) to finish second in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a swim of 1:46.60.

Zortman also took first in the 100-yard freestyle with a swim of 57.16 and she finished tenths of a second behind the 50-yard freestyle winner with a swim of 25.94.

On the men's side, senior
Callan Jordan (Hurley, N.Y./Western Academy of Beijing) took first in the 200-yard backstroke with a swim of 2:01.66 and freshman
Jake Booth (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven)
finished right behind him with an impressive swim of 2:03.38. Jordan and Booth also teamed up with juniors
Josh Caro (Ontario, Calif/Colony) and
Theo Gouskos (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) in the 400-yard medley relay to finish less than a second behind the winner with a swim of 3:46.33.

Sophomore
Brandon Vought (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg) was dominate in the 1,000-yard freestyle, finishing nearly a minute ahead of the competition with an early-season swim of 10:43.62.

The Warriors swept first and second in the 200-yard breaststoke with senior
Michael Panczyszyn (Linden, Pa./Jersey Shore) taking home first with a swim of 2:30.72 and Caro behind him finishing in 2:34.01.

The Warriors will be back in the pool on Saturday, Nov. 3, when they travel to Owings Mills, Md. to take on Middle Atlantic Conference opponent Stevenson at 2 p.m.
