WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -Â After a two-game road trip, the Lycoming College women's basketball team will settle into Lamade Gym for three of its next four games in the friendly confines, kicking off the run on Wednesday night, Jan. 31, against Alvernia.
The Warriors (14-5 overall, 8-3 MAC Commonwealth) posted a 64-49 win over Widener in its last outing, helping the team reach 14 wins in the month of January for the first time. Sophomore
Morgan Mader led the team with 18 points, hitting three 3-pointers, and sophomore
Akilah McFadden added 12 points and four steals.
The Golden Wolves (4-15 overall, 0-10 MAC Commonwealth) fell in their last outing, 47-39, to Hood. Junior Maya Cooper led the team with 15 points and sophomore Torie Zerbe finished with seven points and 13 rebounds.
