Warriors out for school record in regular-season finale with Mustangs

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - With 20 wins in the regular season for just the second time in program history, the Lycoming College men's basketball team will have a chance to tie the school record for wins in a season on Saturday, Feb. 18, when it hosts Stevenson University at 3 p.m.

The Warriors (20-4 overall, 12-3 MAC Commonwealth) knocked Lebanon Valley from second all the way to fifth place in their last outing, as they notched an 87-54 win. Lycoming was led by five players in double figures, including a team-high 15 points from sophomore T.J. Duckett.

The Mustangs (4-20 overall, 2-13 MAC Commonwealth) are coming off a 94-77 loss to Alvernia in its last outing, as freshman Cameron Hayes scored a career-high 31 points in the outing.

Game Notes
• The Warriors can tie the school-record of 21 wins with a victory, tying the mark set by the 1995-96, 2003-04 and 2009-10 teams. 

• Lycoming and Alvernia are the only two teams in the MAC Commonwealth that have qualified for the conference tournament in each of the last three years.

• Lycoming has a league-best 33-14 record in MAC Commonwealth games since the start of 2014-15. 

• Senior Willie Kee reached 1,000 points in his collegiate career with his bucket at Lebanon Valley. He scored 689 in two seasons of junior college ball and has 311 in two years at Lycoming.

• Senior David Johnson reached 1,500 career points in his collegiate career with his eighthof 13 points at Lebanon Valley. He scored 830 points in two years at Mercer Community College before posting 675 in two years at Lycoming.

• Senior Nyk King is 16 points shy of 950 in his career at Lycoming.
