CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Freshman
Daniel Moses (Cape May, N.J./Wildwood Catholic) ran a career-best 29:38.6 at the DeSales University Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 7, leading the Lycoming College cross country teams.

th out of 268 runners, leading the men to a 23
rd-place finish out of 28 schools in the 8k race. Sophomore
Gustavo Vergara (Santa Ana, Calif./Valley) placed 173
rd with his run of 31:33.4 while freshman
Maverick Stenger (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg Area) placed third on the team and 190
th in the meet with a run of 32:10.1. Rounding out the top-five runners for the Warriors were senior
Joseph Ingrum (Lodi, Calif./Lodi), who ran a 32:52.1, placing 204
th while senior
Sean Hastings (Levittown, Pa./Neshaminy) notched a time of 38:54.1.

On the women's side, sophomore
Kaylee Long (Milton, Pa./Milton) led the Warriors to a 16
th-place team finish out of 22 schools in the 6k race, finishing 40
th out of 224 runners with a time of 25:21.3. Senior
Rachel Fritz (Honesdale, Pa./Honesdale) placed 59
th with a run of 25:56.1, besting her previous best at the DeSales course by nearly 15 seconds. Sophomore
Amanda Goulden (Wharton, N.J./Morris Hills) placed third on the team and 152
nd overall, running a 29:45.1. Rounding out the top-five runners for the Warriors were senior
Lindsay Smith (Easton, Pa./Easton Area), who placed 193
rd with her run of 32:47.5 and junior
Kaitlyn Barmore (Succasunna, N.J./Roxbury), who finished 200
th with her run of 34:03.5.

The Warriors return to action on Saturday, Oct. 14, when they head to Gettysburg, Pa., for the Gettysburg College Invitational. The men start at 10:30 a.m. while the women begin at 11:30 a.m.
