WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After a one-possession loss to Widener that moved the MAC Commonwealth field a game closer to its spot at the top of the standings, the Lycoming College men's basketball team will head to Alvernia University for a critical conference game on Wednesday, Feb. 1, at 6 p.m., at Jack McCloskey Court.
The Warriors (16-4 overall, 8-3 MAC Commonwealth) are coming off a 72-70 loss at Widener, as the team came back from a 21-point second half deficit to have a chance to tie the game with its last possession. Sophomore
T.J. Duckett led the team with 21 points.
Alvernia (12-7 overall, 6-4 MAC Commonwealth) can move within a half-game of the Warriors with a win, as the team has won three straight games.
