WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -Â With a two-game lead in the MAC Commonwealth and seven games remaining, the Lycoming College men's basketball will be out to get a step closer to home court advantage in the conference tournament when it hosts Widener University on Saturday, Jan. 28, at 3 p.m., in Lamade Gym.
The Warriors (16-3 overall, 8-2 MAC Commonwealth) fell victim to a hot-shooting Messiah team in its last outing, but did shoot 53 percent from the field and place four players in double figures in the loss. Senior
David Johnson led the way with 19 points.
The Pride (10-8 overall, 4-5 MAC Commonwealth) posted a 67-65 win over Valley Forge in its last outing, with junior Sam Smith hitting a go-ahead 3-pointer with 1:13 left.
