WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -Â Having built a two-game lead in MAC Commonwealth standings through the first half of the season, the Lycoming College men's basketball team will head into the home stretch of its regular season on Saturday, Jan. 21, when it heads to second-place Hood for an important MAC Commonwealth game.
The Warriors (15-2 overall, 7-1 MAC Commonwealth) are coming off a 69-67 win over Arcadia, as junior
Chris Wallace led the team with 12 points and 12 rebounds and senior
David Johnson also added 12 points in the win.Â
The Blazers (13-4 overall, 5-3 MAC Commonwealth) notched a 95-68 win over Stevenson in its last game, with junior Scott Bolen leading the team with 17 points and freshman Michael Riley added 14.
Game Notes
• The Warriors need one more win to reach 16 wins for the third straight season, just the second time in school history the program can accomplish this. The 1950-53 teams went 48-13.
• The Warriors have led the MAC Commonwealth at the end of the first half of the season in each of the last three years.
